J Richard Townley, MD

  • Dr. Townley is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship trained in Cornea/ External Disease and Refractive Surgery that provides comprehensive ophthalmology services including state of the art laser vision correction surgery, cataract surgery, implantable lenses, minimally invasive eyelid and glaucoma surgeries, and corneal transplants.  Dr. Townley is the former Chief of Surgery and department chair at the Joint Elmendorf Richardson Medical Center and former Refractive Surgery Consultant to the Surgeon General for the entire Air Force.

Dr Robin Grendahl, MD

  

  • Dr Grendahl is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship trained in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. She has been practicing ophthalmology in Anchorage since 1996.  She originally hales from southern Minnesota and moved to Anchorage at age thirteen when her father, Dr Marvin Grendahl, brought his young family to Alaska and opened his ophthalmology practice in 1977.  While attending Service High School, Dr Robin began working in her father’s practice.

Dr Robert Arnold

 

  • Dr. Robert Arnold is a board-certified pediatric ophthalmologist who practiced with Ophthalmic Associates in Anchorage from 1989 through 2013 and joined Alaska Children's Eye and Strabismus in 2014 to present. He originally moved from Bellingham, Washington to Alaska in 1976 to commercial fish and attend the University of Alaska-Fairbanks.
